Contemporary Apartment Renovation, Idukki Town

Our client for this project owned an older, three-bedroom apartment that felt cramped and poorly lit due to an outdated, segmented layout. They approached Edens Builders and Home Decor with a mandate to completely revitalize the space, seeking a modern, open-concept feel with significantly improved storage solutions and updated aesthetics.

Our team began with structural modifications, safely removing non-load-bearing partition walls to merge the living, dining, and kitchen areas into one cohesive, fluid space. We replaced the old flooring with durable, large-format vitrified tiles that immediately brightened the entire apartment. The plumbing and electrical systems were completely overhauled to support modern appliances and lighting fixtures.

The highlight of this renovation is the highly functional U-shaped modular kitchen we designed to maximize a compact footprint, featuring high-gloss shutters and smart pull-out organizers. In the bedrooms, we installed floor-to-ceiling sliding wardrobes to utilize vertical space efficiently. The final decor styling included selecting minimalist furniture and vibrant abstract art pieces to inject personality into the newly modernized space.
